Scholarship Benefits

SNU’s scholarships cover a wide range of expenses to ensure you focus on your studies:

Full Tuition Fee Waiver: For undergraduates, up to 8 semesters depending on general requirements, and for graduates,s 4–6 Credit/semester system.

Living Expenses: The monthly living allowances go from KRW 900,000 to KRW 2,000,000.

Airfare: Round-trip economy tickets.

Korean Language Training Fee: A year of language instruction for the learners who require it.

Health Insurance: All expenses incurred for medical reasons while in the country.

Additional Benefits: This has been illustrated by research support, thesis printing fees, and settlement allowances.

Available Scholarships at SNU

For Undergraduate Students:

GKS (Global Korea Scholarship): This includes fees for their tuition, their living costs, their flight, and everything in between.

Overseas Koreans Scholarship: Intended for learners with some Korean background or connections.

For Graduate Students:

SNU President Fellowship Program (SPF): This will entail covering all costs, from the monthly stipends that are highly attractive to the interns to other costs.

Graduate Scholarship for Excellent Foreign Students (GSFS): Support in terms of fee remissions and scholarships for accommodation and food.

GKS (Graduate Level): Education package for Master’s and Ph.D. students with a one-year intensive Korean language course as a requirement.
