It is an entirely funded research program in which promising and enthusiastic early-career researchers worldwide can be part of the mission to transform the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center (KAPSARC) , a global center of excellence in energy economics, policy, and sustainability research.

You could be a new Ph.D. graduate or are about to complete your doctorate and this is a 2-year postdoctoral program, which provides the opportunity to undertake high-end, policy related research in the energy capital of the Middle East.

No application fee: total expenses are covered! KAPSARC Graduate Development Program is also available for bachelor and Master graduates.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible to the KAPSARC Postdoctoral Program, the applicants should fulfill the following criteria:

• Nationality: Accepted to all nationalities
• Ph.D. Level: Fresh or about to graduate in one of the following courses:
• Energy Economics
• Public Policy
• Environmental Science
• Sustainability
• Engineering or suchlike
• Research Expertise:
• Evidence of being able to do independent research
• Skill in quantitative, qualitative or hybrid approaches
• Work in personal application on involved software/tools and data
