University of Twente Scholarship 2026 (UTS) in Netherlands

University of Twente (UT), which is among the top public research universities in the Netherlands, has officially announced the applications of the University of Twente Scholarship (UTS) 2026. The purpose of this prestigious scholarship is to attract highly motivated and talented international students of non-EU/EEA countries who want to pursue a Master degree (MSc) at UT.

The university is known to have innovative ways of teaching, advanced research and interdisciplinary approach, integrating technology with social sciences to address real-life problems. UT seeks to recruit ambitious students through the UTS who can help to enrich the academic community and introduce a global outlook to the classroom.

About 50 scholarships will be given to outstanding students in 2026. The scholarship is a financial aid that assists in meeting the study related costs and the student has the freedom to use the money as per his or her requirements. Be it tuition fees, accommodation, books, or daily living expenses, recipients are at liberty to use the award in whichever way they see fit as they concentrate on their studies and personal growth.

Scholarship Value

The University of Twente Scholarship offers a scholarship of between 3000 and 22000 euro in a single year.

Students who join a two-year Master program can have the scholarship renewed to the second year, as long as all the requirements and academic progress criteria are achieved.

Students who are eligible and hold the UTS are also eligible to the Kipaji Scholarship, targeted specifically at developing country students.

Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply to the University of Twente Scholarship 2026, the following requirements have to be met:

Admission Letter: You have to apply to a Master program at UT and be admitted (at least provisionally).
Eligible Program: One of the qualifying UT Master programs must be admitted to beginning in the academic year 2026.
Application Timeline: Once an application is made, it can take up to 8 weeks to be announced.

Visa Requirement: Applicants should be in a position to secure a valid entry visa to the Netherlands.
