Eligibility Criteria

The Joint Japan World Bank Scholarship is accessible to the citizens of developing countries who are determined to go back to their country and help the development of their country.

To submit an application to the JJ/WBGSP Scholarship:

  • Nationality: You have to be a citizen of a developing country of the World Bank that is a member
  • Educational Requirement: You should have at least 3 years of Bachelor’s degree earned prior to the deadline
  • Professional experience: Within the past 6 years, you need to have at least 3 years full-time, paid development-related experience
  • Admission Requirement: You should have an unconditional admission offer in a participating Master program
  • Health: Applicants should be in proper health and not be of dual citizenship of a developed nation
