About the Environmental Fellows Program

Environmental Fellows Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the fellowship, applicants must have met the eligibility criteria of the Harvard Environmental Fellows Program 2027.

Those who meet the following main criteria are eligible for the prize.

• The fellowship is available to all nationalities and citizens.
• The applicants must have received a doctorate or equivalent terminal degree within the specified time frame or they are expected to receive it within the period.
• The doctorate should be granted from May 2023 to August 2027.
• Applicants must develop and propose a research project related to environmental research.
• Candidates must find and connect with a Harvard faculty member who agrees to host the candidate’s research.
• The application will include a letter of recommendation.
• Candidates should be fluent in English to carry out research and be able to function within an academic environment.
