KAIST Global IT Technology Program

KAIST International Talent Scholarship is a fully funded Master’s and PhD program for international students. It is based on promoting an exchange of state-of-the-art IT knowledge and developing a global community of IT specialists. Designed for individuals in the governmental and public sectors, as well as senior researchers, the membership of this program is limited to people working in developing countries, which makes the program quite distinctive and highly effective.

Scholarship Benefits

The KAIST Global ITTP Scholarship provides all the major expenses to be incurred, giving the students the platform to concentrate on their studies and training process. Here’s what you’ll receive:

• Fee Coverage Tuition
• Living Allowance: 1,500,000 KRW per month
• Relocation Expenses
• Round-trip Airfare: An economy class fare up to 1,500,000 KRW;
• Medical Insurance

Scholarship Duration

Master’s Program: Up to 2 years

Ph.D. Program: Up to 3 years

Eligibility Criteria

To apply for this prestigious scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

This requirement must not specify a country of origin for a candidate’s citizenship. Must be a citizen of any country.

The target participant must be a government official in a developing country, an employee in a public institution or a senior researcher in the IT-related field.

Possess a bachelor’s degree for Master’s programs or a master’s degree for the Ph.D. program in an Information Technology context.

The employees from private companies are not eligible.

Pass a test in English or have a telephone interview with the director of the ITTP.

Application Procedure 

Applying for the KAIST Global IT Technology Program 2025 is straightforward:

Document Submission: You should scan and submit your transcripts for the previous academic year, your degrees earned and English proficiency test results, if any.
