St. Gallen Global Essay Competition 2025 (Fully Funded to Switzerland)

Are you prepared for an extraordinary journey in one of the most picturesque nations worldwide? The St. Gallen Global Essay Competition 2025 offers the chance to win a fully funded trip to Switzerland and participate in the esteemed St. Gallen Symposium.

The St. Gallen Global Essay Competition, hosted by the International Students’ Committee (ISC), invites graduate and postgraduate students (Master’s and PhD) from across the globe to participate. The top 100 essayists will be granted invitations to the 54th St. Gallen Symposium in Switzerland, scheduled for May 6th to 8th, 2025.

The essay challenge:

Participants are invited to address the following thought-provoking questions:

“Global power is shifting. What’s your innovative idea to address a related risk or opportunity?”

Your essay should not exceed 2,100 words and must be composed in English.

• Deadline: February 1, 2025  
• Eligibility: Open to students from any discipline, currently enrolled in graduate or postgraduate programs, born on or after January 1, 1995.  
• Plagiarism check: All submissions will be subjected to a plagiarism assessment.
