US TechWomen Exchange Program 2025 (Fully Funded)

Are you a dedicated woman in STEM looking to advance your career? The TechWomen Exchange Program offers an exceptional, fully-funded opportunity to acquire invaluable experience and mentorship in the United States. This five-week exchange initiative empowers emerging women leaders from Africa, Central and South Asia, and the Middle East, enabling them to progress in their careers, pursue their aspirations, and motivate other women within their communities.

Program highlights:

Duration: 5 Weeks (September – October 2025)  

Location: San Francisco Bay Area or Chicago  

Benefits: Fully funded coverage for travel expenses, accommodation, meals, local transport, and event transportation  

Number of participants: 108 women selected from around the globe  

Deadline: January 7, 2025  

During the program, participants will engage in a hands-on project at prominent tech companies in the San Francisco Bay Area or Chicago. Alongside the project, you will have the chance to network with fellow women in STEM, access mentorship opportunities, and take part in networking events, all designed to empower you for enhanced career success.

Eligibility criteria:

• Field: Applicants must be women engaged in STEM disciplines  
• Experience: A minimum of two years of full-time professional experience in STEM  
• Education: A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent  
• English proficiency: Fluency in both written and spoken English  
• Citizenship: Applicants must be from designated countries in Africa, Central and South Asia, and the Middle East  
• Visa eligibility: Capability to obtain a U.S. J-1 visa.
