Eligibility?

The applicants should have the following qualifications to be considered eligible to the Google Student Researcher Internship 2026 in the USA:

• Education: Should be pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree on a full time basis. Given a better preference are those studying in the United States.
• Areas of study: Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Biostatistics, Operations Research, Linguistics, Economics or Natural Sciences.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiar with programming (e.g., Python, Java, C++ ) and have expertise in one or more of the following: machine learning, computer vision, NLP, optimization, or software engineering.
• Research Experience: Excellent academic research experience or prior internship, publication or research conference attendance.
