Program Overview

The EUI Leaders Fellowship is an exceptional opportunity tailored for mid-career professionals with a minimum of 10 years of experience in politics, civil service, media, and non-governmental organizations. Participants can select a five-month (September – January or February—June) or ten-month (September—June) fellowship duration. The fellowship provides an ideal setting for developing and implementing policy innovations that will shape the future.

Eligibility  

  • Open to all nationals: EU citizenship is not a prerequisite.

  • Degree: Applicants must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree (a Ph.D. is not required).  
  • Policy expertise: Candidates should be engaged in areas relevant to the program’s emphasis on transnational governance and policy leadership.

FAQ's

This fellowship is open to mid-career professionals with at least 10 years of relevant experience, regardless of nationality. A Bachelor’s degree is required, but a Ph.D. is not.

The fellowship is fully funded, providing a monthly stipend of €2,500 allowances for households and children and travel support of up to €1,200.

Applicants can choose between a five-month program (September to January or February to June) or a ten-month program (September to June).
