Theme of the Program

“The Future of Food Security: Lessons from Southeast Asia” is the theme of the 2025 fellowship. Participants will learn about essential topics such as global supply chain disruptions, declining fisheries, rising food costs, and climate change.

Qualifications

Journalists from the following countries are eligible for the Fully Funded Jefferson Fellowship 2025 in the USA, Thailand, and Indonesia:

• The United States and the Indo-Pacific region.
• Journalists with at least five years of experience in print, broadcast, or internet.
• Strong dedication to creating material during and after the program. Strong command of English for professional communication.
