Young professionals can gain practical experience in international commerce and WTO operations through this esteemed one-year training program in Geneva. The World Trade Organization (WTO) hosts the program to improve participants’ knowledge of technical laws, development challenges, and international trade policy.

All chosen specialists will be paid CHF 4,000 per month to work in the WTO Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland, and will also be covered for travel and medical expenses. Qualifications

Candidates must fulfill the following requirements to be considered for the Fully Funded WTO Young Professionals Program in Switzerland 2026:

  • Be an individual who resides in a WTO member state (refer to the WTO member list).

   Possess a graduate-level degree in:

  • The law
  • Finances
