Young leaders throughout the world have a fantastic opportunity to take part in a fully funded seven-day study tour through the ancient cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan. The program’s goal is to equip young people with the information, skills, and training they need to support international peace and nuclear disarmament initiatives.

There is no application fee or IELTS requirement, and participants of all countries are welcome to apply. Overview of the Program

There are two stages to Fully Funded Youth Leader Fund (YLF):

Phase 1: Online Course for Four Months

  • Interactive online courses on world peace and disarmament.
  • Getting ready for the study trip to Japan.

Phase 2: Japan Study Tour for Six Days

  • Trips to Nagasaki and Hiroshima for in-depth education.
  • Interaction directly with Hibakusha (survivors of the atomic explosion).
  • Cooperation on peace-building projects with local youngsters.
  • Trips to historical places, memorial parks, and peace museums.

Qualifications

Young people from any nation are eligible.

  • The required age range is 18 to 29 years old.
  • There is no prerequisite for a particular degree or background in peace studies.
  • English proficiency is required because the training will only be conducted in English.
  • Devoted to leadership, disarmament, and world peace.
