GRO GEST 2026 Fellowship in Iceland (Fully Funded)

Do you have an intense belief in gender equality and are you seeking a global job opportunity? You can develop your abilities, get international exposure, and significantly influence the GRO GEST Fellowship 2026 in Iceland! Young professionals from countries with middle or low incomes are the target audience for this fully financed, five-month training course at the University of Iceland. Upon successful completion, participants will be awarded a Postgraduate Diploma in Gender Equality Studies and Training (GEST).

This fellowship, which will be offered in Reykjavík, Iceland, from January to May 2026, will pay all costs, enabling chosen applicants to fully concentrate on their educational path. Each year, 20 to 25 experts are selected to participate in this esteemed program, which uses a variety of fields to advance fairness and equal rights for women and men.

Qualifications

Applicants must fulfill the following criteria to qualify for the GRO GEST Fellowship.

Nationality: Candidates from middle- and low-income nations are welcome.

Education: A bachelor’s degree or its equivalent is required for education.

Language: Proficient in written and spoken English.

Step 1: Get your present supervisor to nominate you. 

By March 8, 2025, the nomination must be made electronically through the GEST website.

Step 2: In mid-to-late March, you will receive an invitation for submitting an individual application if you are chosen.

Step 3: Those who made the shortlist will move on to the last selection round.
