FAQ's

Candidates must meet the qualifying requirements by March 2025 or complete 12 years of study outside Japan. Applicants must also finish their 12 years of education before August 2025 to be eligible for autumn admission.

Under this scheme, international students participating in PhD programs will automatically be excluded from paying tuition. They will do so by working for the University as Research Assistants.

A student from one of the selected locations will receive a regional allotment and a monthly payment of 117,000 yen (about Rs. 70,000).
